Join nonprofit leaders for two days of learning, connection, and practical tools designed to strengthen leadership, build capacity, and deepen collaboration across our community.

The 2026 Summit features

Executive Director Boot Camp: 9.5 hour program over two days limited to 10 applicants covering the nuts and bolts of being an Executive Director from legal considerations to how to manage it all. (Tuesday 10 am - 4:30 pm, Wednesday 9 am - 2 pm: Must commit to attending full two day program)
Board of Directors Training: Back by popular demand, a 2.5 hour session for board members to attend together to gain a deeper understanding of their role and how to engage in governance more effectively. (Tuesday 10 am - 12:30 pm.)
NEW: Business Giving Connection Happy Hour: Co hosted by the Chaffee County EDC and Central Mountain Small Business Development Center, the panel will feature local businesses who have embraced giving into their models and opportunities to connect business owners with local nomnprofit causes that aligned with their company values.
NEW: Community Restorative Practices Training: Create a Highly Functioning Organization by Building A Collective Restorative Mindset - Transform tension into trust by cultivating a shared mindset of accountability, belonging, and collaborative problem-solving. (9 am - 2 pm, Wednesday: Must commit to attending full five hour session)
NEW: We are Chaffee's Leaders: Organized by Chaffee County, this session will kick off a year long connecting and planning opportunity for those in leadership positions able to play a role in time of communitywide response opportunities. (2 pm - 4 pm, Wednesday, April 29th)
6 More Workshops: In addition to the above sessions, an additional six topics on development, board management, organizational health, grant sources and more!
Networking: Structured and unstructured networking sessions built into the day to allow leaders to connect.
